Hi there,

Any chance to allow registered users to post their own auctions.

We run a community WP portal and our users need a place to buy and sell items between themselves.

Thanks,

Cheers

Each article I have read is very well written and to the point. I would also like to state, not only are the articles well written, but the lay-out of your web-site is excellent. I was able to navigate from post to post and find what I was looking for with ease. Keep up the great work you are doing, and I will return many times in the near future.

Hi,

I have the pro version and have created really nice auctions but how time consuming the process is has become a major factor in my business model. In the hopes to may this plugin continue to work well for me and my business I have the following very significant request:

I would like to have a very easy to use excel template where i can fill in the fields that of the wp auctions wordpress plugin (view my auctions at www.thevintagetwin.com) excel, bulk upload all of the listings and have the posts be filled out. Each auction then needs its own post and it is inserted with a shortcode. I would love to have something that can automatically put the auction ID shortcode into its own post after the auction is created so that I dont have to do an extra step. i started to make my own template with the following column titles which would be sufficient..i would also like a place to specify which category the POSTs would be in (not the auctions bc the shortcode to the auctions go into a post which needs to be categorized).

wp_title wp_description wp_Image_URL wp_start_price wp_end_date wp_shipping_price wp_shipping_to wp_shipping-form wp_Buy_it_now wp_extra_image_url_1 wp_extra_image_url_2 wp_extra_image_url_3 wp_tags

Can you help? Will these column titles in excel work with the CSV Importer Plug in? You guys should totally develop a plugin and template as i am sure any merchant would LOVE the idea of lessened data-entry time. Thank you!!!

Hello, plugin looks great. We often have ,as part of our yearly auction, items that would qualify as a Buy It Now type item, but there are a set amount of them available, not just one. Sometimes we auction off tickets to an event and on occasion the amount of tickets is unlimited. I have not been able to find anything here that would serve this purpose. Is there a way to auction off a quantity of the same item? Thanks

Hello,

Love the plugin - but would love to be able to integrate payments into a third party merchant account. We have clients that offer online donations, e-commerce application for online purchases, and would also like to integrate the online auctions system you have. However, they would like to have the purchases go through their own merchant account and not through PayPal. Is this possible in your system or is this a feature that will be available at some point?

Thank you!!!

Thanks again. This thing is awesome.

More improvements:

a) Did you make (and I can't find) a 'upgrade to the latest version without losing anything' page?

b) When I get notice of a new bid on an item it'd be great if instead of a numeric identifier it parsed in the auction title. I have like 60 or 70 running currently... 'new bid on 23' doesn't tell me much. : )

c) Re-arrange (or let us easily rearrange) the auction entry page. Adding one picture, then doing a bunch of other stuff, then added the next three is un-cool.

d) Standard or saved entries on that page would be VERY handy... I like to run auctions that end at 11pm PST in 10 days (or next Sunday or after Tuesdays).. I should be able to have that saved so I just check a box or select it from a 'favorite setups' list.

Cheers,

<i>Hello. I purchased your plugin this evening and am very impressed. Though I was a bit surprised that the auction popup lacked a visible real-time countdown to the end of the auction. I’d highly recommend adding this as a feature in the future as it always made it easier for me to keep track of auctions nearing their end and eliminated any mistakes when dealing with different time zones. I’m hoping that I can sort out a way to do this on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.</i>

Hello,

Nice plugin!
I would like to see how many persons looked a certain auction.
So others would see how many views there are.
greetings Maureen

Wow. Just about all my requests are covered in the comments above.
I'd like to add to the list:

a) Test email sending. From the admin area I'd like to hit a button and confirm that it is properly sending emails:
1) To me when a new person bids.
2) To the bidder when they first bid, and upon a higher bid, upon being outbid, and upon winning (perhaps an optional email upon not winning?)

b) Option to FULLY remove the 'Other Auctions' area. We do all our auctions as posts. I don't want to see other auction names in the widget because they are already all listed in a 'Recent Posts' widget. It just pushes the 'bid now' button down for no reason in our situation, so removing it would be ideal, but '0' isn't on my drop-down list of 'How many other auctions would you like to display in the widget?'

c) Shipping should be able to be text, not just a number. We allow local pickup, or we ship at 'actual cost' ...neither of these is an option with your plugin right now to put in the shipping space (that we can tell anyway).

d) More than one payment choice. Why can't we offer more than one? It seems to be forcing us to choose one method per auction. We want any auction to be able to use either of our accepted payment methods.

e) Back to the email... where can we put template emails so I know what will be sent out and what it looks like (and more so, how to edit it so it looks and says what I want it to... with the right level of editing and emails headed out you could use this with Kunaki and have a total party without having to put PayPal in the mix).

Great plugin guys. It works out of the box. A couple more revisions and I just don't know what else people could need to move loot on their sites.

Thank you.

When you place a bid on e-bay you get an automated e-mail regarding your bid. Can we have a feature that sends an e-mail confirming the bids?
