WP Auctions allows you to set up auction categories, just as you would set up regular Post categories. You can specify the category an auction belongs to while you are creating it. This feature is best utilized together with the List Widget.

      WP Auctions requires a self-hosted WordPress 3.4+ blog/website with PHP 5 and MySQL 5+. Our development is done on a PC and our servers run Linux.

      Windows servers are supported too, though not extensively tested on.
